Creating something beautiful, relevant, fun and clever

I'm Heather and I create because I can't help it. I studied visual communication for my degree and discovered I love to bring ideas to life. I do this through illustration and layout, using different methods to bring image and text alive. I hope to give your design a unique and craft based feel. I have a keen eye to spot the potential in ideas and with over a decade of industry experience you can trust your project in my hands. I live in Shoreham-By-Sea with my family and spend my days working on projects I love.

Lovely things people have said about my work:

Packaging identity and design

“I had a seed of an idea and Heather turned it into a beautiful packaging solution that made my letter and shape bunting sellable. Throughout the process she kept the audience and customer in-mind, presenting me with lots of ideas and options and really pushed the concept beyond what I had initially thought. The chosen identity reflected the brand spot-on and I couldn’t be happier in sharing the newly-packaged bunting with the world!” Emma Johnson, Hang It Up

 Logo identity and illustrations

“Heather brought to life my very personal brand and vision. She always gets it, is able to interpret my own sense of style perfectly and has this very unique ability to read my mind. Her passion for design, creativity and professionalism shines  through everything she creates and it is always an absolute pleasure working with her.” Emma Johnson, Curiosity Cupboard Shop Owner and Stylist

 Wedding stationery

“The wedding stationary Heather designed for us really set the scene for our day and gave guests a sneak peak of what to expect. Heather listened to the sort of thing I wanted and translated those thoughts perfectly in her designs. So many people commented on how lovely the stationary was and how it complimented our autumnal theme.” Natalie Finnerty

 Brand identity

“We asked Heather to create an identity for our new start up bread baking business. We wanted something that had warmth and reflected our ethos. We are a local company for our local community. Heather incorporated a blackbird image (as our company is called Blackbird Bread) alongside the trail of breadcrumbs to bring in the bread element. We asked her for an identity, a logo and a Twitter avatar. She also helped us set up our initial blog. We get lots of comments on the striking image of the bird and our ‘tweet’ avatar has made our Twitter profile instantly recognisable and helped us build a following of nearly 3,000 followers.” Ali, Blackbird Bread
